‘Fast relief, expert care’
Visit our Dental Practice for same-day appointments to resolve your dental emergency swiftly.
Dental emergencies can happen at any time without warning. Dental pain can occur for a variety of reasons; these can include a dental abscess, inflamed nerve, a broken filling or tooth. You may need urgent dental care to control your pain and prevent any further damage.
What counts as a dental emergency?
If any of the following situations apply to you, it’s time to book an emergency appointment:
Pain from a cavity or abscess
Chipped or cracked tooth or filling
Loose or knocked out tooth
Swelling in the face, neck, tongue or gums
A crown/bridge that has become loose or fallen out
What happens at an emergency dental appointment?
If you have a dental emergency, we recommend calling the Practice as soon as possible. A member of our dental team will assess your symptoms and book you in as soon as possible.
An emergency dental visit will allow us to assess the source of the problem and confirm a diagnosis. We might take X-rays of your mouth and jaw to help understand the problem. Where possible, we will complete treatment on the day to alleviate your problem, but where a temporary measure has been completed, you may have to return for more definitive treatment and care.
We look forward to meeting you and creating a customised care plan for you and your family, so you can enjoy the beautiful smile and excellent oral health you deserve.
