We’re thrilled to welcome new NHS patients to Silk Dental in Macclesfield. Here’s a quick guide to help you feel prepared and informed.

Your First Visit

You’ll receive a comprehensive examination, any necessary X-rays, and a discussion of your treatment needs. We’ll explain NHS band charges clearly.

Patient Agreement & Attendance Policy

When you register, you’ll receive our patient agreement, which includes:

• Minimum 24 hours’ notice for appointment changes
• One missed or short-notice cancellation may lead to NHS place removal (for new patients)
• Two allowed over 2 years for existing patients

Appointment Reminders

We send reminders by phone and email to help you keep on top of your appointments.

Ongoing Care

NHS covers essential treatments. For additional options (e.g., teeth whitening or guided biofilm therapy), we offer private upgrades.

We’re also a referral practice offering advanced Periodontics, Endodontics, and dental implants. Your oral health is in excellent hands.
